Makeup, Glitter, Cupcakes, Gowns- MAGIC accomplished!

On November of 2011, I was determined to put together a photoshoot for the Winter of 2011/2012..where different small businesses from Elkhart,IN and Goshen,IN would collaborate to create "magic" show our "small"town what great artists they have! . Now, that our wonderful photographer Axel Hernandez is done with the image and has released them, we are so proud to present to you the final results of this project...Hope you enjoy as much as we are!

Our beautiful model Tanah is wearing a dress gowns that was provided by Elegant Desings located in Elkhart,IN which can be used formal events..

Another gown provided by Elegant Designs from Elkhart,IN...perfect for a bride looking for simple sophistication!

Along the way, Joe Diamond-Digital Artist joined the team to create these two beautiful images!

For the makeup part of the shoot I decided to create 3 different looks...these are my inspirations! Not trying to tell you at all to do your makeup like any of these for work, or wedding or event...but if you want to re-create them, you are more than welcomed to do so! :D

"Nude with a touch of Glitter" Look -- used 2 foundation colors to create countouring..."Bright Eyes" eyeliner nu Nethye Pro Beauty Cosmetics used in waterline to open up the eye look!

"Double Wings and Glitter" Look-- Sterling Silver Glitter was used to give the illusion if a fun mask...I love glitter for the holidays...and to give it a little edginess, a double win eyeliner was created...it reminds me a little bit of the Black Swan character...just a little bit! ;)

"Dramatic Eyes with Red Lips" Look -- this is the same look than the above one , but a red lipgloss was added to the lips to intensify the whole look!

Another of the participants on this project shoot, was Mini Delights Bake Shop located in Elkhart, IN ..I thought it would add a little bit of sweetness to our shoot...and they are delicious!

for the America's Beauty Show Chicago March 4, 2012

2 weeks ago I was contacted by a talent agency from CA asking me if I'd be interested on doing makeup for the Fashion Show by the ABS in Chicago,IL... for a moment I thought, "is he really talking about the America's Beauty Show or is there something else with the same initials ,and I don't really know of it?''.
So, I asked him twice if we were talking about the same show, trying not to sound too ridiculously excited, and yes! It is the America's Beauty Show, which is produced and owned by cosmetologists in Chicago and the one that is directed and produced specifically to licensed cosmetologists and esthetitians (mua's can go too, but with them) . Imagine a huge fair of beauty(hair,makeup,nails,skin,etc,etc,etc) products!

Yesterday , I got my contract confirmation that I 'll be doing makeup for the models of Goldwell/KMS Products!

I am very, very,excited about this...literally jumping up and down like a little girl... I feel that after all these years, my job and perseverance is paying off..

I'll be taking tons of pics...if time allows it! to take you with me backstage...

Wish me luck...I know that I 've done many Fashion Shows, but every single one feels unique and therefore, I get very nervous...butterflies and all! and that is the beauty of my job!

Makeup for Bridal Show at the Metropolitan Club- Willis (Sears) Tower with UR Supermodels Model Agency

On January 6th, 2012 I was invited to do Professional Makeup at the Bridal Show "Breathtaking Heights", Chicago,ILdone at the 66th floor of the Willis (Sears) Tower at the Metropolitan Club by Asha Spacek CEO from UR Supermodels. The view was amazing, of course, and we were treated great...with delicious food and drinks...

This Bridal Show gathered the best elite vendors from Chicago. Everything and anything a bride needed for her wedding...it was there!

Models from UR Supemodels were given a detailed trend/look by Artistic Director Asha Spacek to showcase during the event...from hair style, makeup look,dress, flowers and jewlery!!!

Ania--Vintage Bride: for her makeup look, the traditional cateye eyeliner was given with reddish matte lipstick + Lashes,Lashes!

Alex--Free Spirit Bride: for her makeup look, a golden contouring with bronzer was given on her cheekbones, temples, nose, and a bronzy lipcolor...full eyebrows and lashes!

Gina--Modern Bride : Her makeup look was achieved by creating a soft smoky eye, with well countoured cheekbones ,and a nude color lipstick! Full eyebrows were achieved by filling them out with a taupe brown color...

Walden--Traditional Bride: her makeup look was achieved by giving her peachy flushed cheeks and lips, full eyebrows, browns soft shadows and lashes!

Contract Signed! with Chicago Artist Agency Update

Thanks everyone for the good vibe and best wishes! I wanted to make sure I had the contract signed to confirm that I got hired as a Master makeup artist for this agency in Chicago.. (there are 3 levels- Master been the highest=highest pay).
This means that besides my normal work that I already do with my brides and shoots,I'll get awesome jobs at the windy city and maybe NYC and Miami as well,all payed :D my profile will be up soon for their website and of course I'll put up a link so you can see! Also, my first gig with them is this coming January 27th...at a Fashion Show in Underground Night Club in Downtown.
These past couple of weeks I applied to this agency and I had to be going to Chicago to do a couple of personal interviews and then a test shoot so they could see how I work with the rest of the crew and how I take over on the job given and how I follow instructions...
This is extremely exciting because of how much competition there is out there to get good and payed jobs! I have been working very hard these past couple of years to get my name out there and learning from all experiences, and finally...

FAVOUR Bride-- in Veils and Vows,the wedding magazine Winter issue 2011-Bethza Seminario Makeup

I received my copy of Veils and Vows Magazine in the mail today! I have been waiting for this Winter 2011 issue since I did makeup for an article last month. Veils and Vows is a wedding magazine from Michiana available free in-stores for the bride-to-be and whoever wants to find more about wedding related info.

I got a call a couple months ago by my photographer friend Janie Yoder from Imagination Photography with the idea of creating a spread article to give more options to brides and let them know that they do not have to go to big cities or spend tons of money to achieve an edgier and sophisticated wedding...it can be done here in our small town and arounds... just have to find the right people and resources to get it done!

"Having decided that this mohawk style was the ideal look, we also wanted to embrace a makeup look that would enhance and compliment it perfectly. In northern Indiana there are few artist as talented as Bethza Seminario. She gave our model Carrie Edison, a smokey-eye that finished her in vogue style." Photoshoot Day- creating Magic!

Loving Holiday photoshoots-they are full of glitters, shimmer, sweets treats! This is a little preview of our shoot done yesterday! (took this behind the scenes with my phone).

For the longest time, I have been wanting to organize and produce a couple of Holiday/Winter photoshoots and bring to live the amazing world of Fashion to our small towns in Elkhart and Goshen, Indiana and help each other out as small businesses to grow together. This is a non-profit project that has the purpose to create awareness and exposure to the community of what we can offer.

We have great local artists who love and are passionate about their jobs: photographers, videographers, hair stylists, makeup artists and small business owners who are willing to collaborate with their products and goods to bring the best to their clients!
